About Me

My name is Chris Garza and I am an ESA Certified Ecologist, ISA Certified Arborist, and a SER Certified Restoration Practitioner in Training. I am currently working as a GIS Specialist + Senior Environmental Scientist I for Hollaway Environmental. I have a MS in Forestry from Texas A&M University and a BS in Biology from St. Edward's University. My passions include native plant diversity, entomology, mycology, and ecological restoration. 

Outside of work, I write songs, rock climb, garden (native plants), and hike with my girlfriend and two dogs. Be sure to check out the services page to see if there is any way that I could help you learn something about the ecology in your area.
